MUSIC AND DRILL DESIGN
No design work will be done until all preliminary paperwork is complete. This paperwork includes a contract, ensemble profiles, and occasionally other information, as well as the filing of any necessary copyright releases. There will also be a down payment required - usually 20% of the projected charges.
When copyright releases are granted, the owners require certain written information to be printed on each part. This is very important, and part of the contract with the copyright holder. Also, the contracts from the copyright holders and from Ovation by Design specifically state that organizations may not lend, sell, rent, or otherwise share designs with another organization.
Each contract will have included the deadlines for delivery. Organizations will receive a 5% discout per day for each day delivery is delayed due to us.
Extra fees will be incurred for "rush" jobs.
Rewrites will be made without charge to correct design errors. Other rewrites, including personnel changes, will incur an extra fee.
Musical arrangements and show concepts will have a geographical guarantee. No other performing organization will be using these designs if they are within the geographical area in which you will perform. This guarantee will be good for one season only.
Other than the non-refundable down payment, billing can be delayed until a new fiscal year begins for design work begun after October 1.
CLINICS AND WORKSHOPS
Along with fees for the workshop itself, host organizations will also be responsible for travel expenses of the clinician. In the event more that one organization is responsible for the bill, travel expenses will be equally divided among the organizations involved.
Leadership and Motivational workshops may not be recorded in any manner without the express written consent of Ovation by Design. Rehearsal clinics may be recorded.
